Kelly Yuen

project designer

Kelly is a Project Designer, contributing to conceptualization, design, and representation for projects across all phases. In addition to continuing to grow his knowledge of conventional construction processes, he brings to Level an interest in technology, coding, and parametric design processes to aid in developing better workflows and providing more opportunities to realize ambitious design.


Prior to joining Level in 2019, Kelly worked for several firms in Chicago and New York City on a variety of projects in Chicago, New York City, and abroad. As a team member on the massive Lincoln Yards master planning project, Kelly developed large scale project massing studies and architectural design investigations as part of the team that won the commission. He also worked on a 4.5 million square foot development in Long Island City, NY, as well as several innovation centers, also on the east coast.


Kelly received a Masters of Advanced Architectural Design degree from Columbia University and a Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he was the recipient of the Lucille Smyser Lowenfish Memorial Prize and Thesis of the Year for his project “Massive,” respectively.
