We were hired to evaluate and suggest a series of interior and exterior improvements for a B-Class office building in Evanston, Illinois. After identifying areas requiring physical upgrades and maintenance as well as opportunities to add value through improved design, we established a menu of high-impact improvements, including plaza redesign/landscape/furniture, main lobby furniture replacement, and a signage/wayfinding program. Our approach focuses on exterior placemaking and enforcing interior/exterior spatial transitions, as well as a more contemporary approach to building signage and graphics.
